Algebra lessons
in Alicante
Many students who say they are bad at maths actually have a problem with algebra: signs, fractions and rearranging equations. We find it, fix it, and the whole subject starts to work.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
Is there specific Algebra support in Alicante?
Yes. At mundoestudiante Alicante (Calle Reyes Católicos, 61) and online we teach classes focused on algebra alone for those who need it, without going back over the whole maths syllabus.
What is the first thing you check when a student struggles with algebra?
The basic operations: fractions, signs, powers and solving for unknowns. With the Barbeito Method we check those foundations in the initial assessment, because failures in equations or systems almost always start there.
Can matrices and systems with parameters be learnt quickly?
Yes, with a systematic procedure: Gaussian elimination, calculating the rank and discussing systems step by step. It is a very mechanical block that improves quickly with guided practice.
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
The work is individualised: each student progresses with their own plan and at their own pace, even when sharing a classroom. That’s the foundation of the Barbeito Method and the reason it works with very different levels at the same time.
Do you teach linear algebra for university?
Yes. We support first-year Algebra at the UA and the UMH (vector spaces, linear maps, diagonalisation), following the notes of the student’s own course.
Can I do algebra support online from home?
Yes. As well as in-person lessons at the Alicante centre, you can study online with the same teacher, materials and follow-up.
What makes mundoestudiante different from other tuition centres in Alicante?
