When it comes to studying, rushing is ill-advised, and cramming right before a deadline results in exhaustion and anxiety. This can throw a whole academic year’s worth of effort down the drain. ABOUT THE BARBEITO METHOD
The Barbeito Method owes its name to its creator, an uneducated man from A Coruña who, at 22 years old, first learned to read and write during mandatory military service. From there, his innate curiosity took him to collaborate in the design of a fully-rotary combustion engine.
Having finally graduated in Industrial Engineering, he went on to explain how he had achieved his learning and wound up dedicating himself to teaching, where he applied the method he himself had devised and that had procured him such good results.
His son would later professionalise the system into what the Barbeito Method is today: a highly-productive teaching system, with an equally high success rate.
The Barbeito Method is simpler than it seems. It is based on two fundamental pillars that are a guarantee of success:
- Tailor-made teaching, adapted to the level from which each student sets out.
- Great simplicity of content, achieved through 45 years of teaching experience.
The method is completed by the freedom and flexibility afforded by our schedule to ensure that each student remains unique, along with their needs and goals.

mundoestudiante currently has fourteen centres, seven of them in Madrid and others in Pozuelo, Alcobendas, Majadahonda, Alcalá de Henares, Alcorcón and Torrejón de Ardoz, as well as one in Valladolid and another in Alicante. In them, we offer lessons for a variety of goals, from working towards a high school diploma as an adult to revising for university admission tests in their three categories: PAU, over 25 and over 45 years old. We also offer language courses for English and Spanish, support lessons for modules and many subjects across a variety of university degrees.
Among our teaching staff you will find industrial engineers, physicists, chemists, economists and architects, as well as Spanish and English majors, historians or art historians, offering the widest possible range of subjects to our students.
On the other hand, our in-house study materials, encompassing all subjects and levels, allow us to offer our students a personalised learning experience. An academy with a personalised, close but demanding approach. I came here with the goal of getting into Medicine: I’m not asking them for a 5, I’m asking for a 10. They are helping me a great deal to clarify concepts and I believe it may be possible with the Barbeito Method. I’ll tell you in June 😉
June arrived, and I did it!!! 💪💪 I’m getting into MEDICINE, with 9.75 in Chemistry and 9.5 in Maths. It has been hard and I have been very consistent, but I know that without Antonio I would not have achieved those grades. I looked at other academies, but when I tried Mundo Estudiante I realised I could achieve it here and, fortunately, I was right. The Barbeito Method meant I went into the exam feeling very confident and with the concepts very clear. If I had taken the Valencia exam, I would have got the same grade, I’m sure.
