University entrance for over-25s
in Madrid
You can get into university without Bachillerato (sixth form, ages 16–18) and without Selectividad (the Spanish university entrance exam, PAU). The over-25s exam has a general part and a specific part that depends on the branch you choose, and you can prepare for it while you work.

Specialists in adult learners.
If you haven’t sat an exam for years, the problem isn’t ability: it’s method and time. At mundoestudiante that’s our starting point. We work one-to-one, with a realistic plan for people with a job and responsibilities, and we take nothing for granted.
Classes for the over-25s entrance route
The general part covers text commentary, Spanish language and a foreign language. The specific part depends on the branch of knowledge you choose for your degree. We prepare both with our own materials and past papers from the university you’re applying to.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
Who can sit the over-25s university entrance exam?
The age and qualification requirements are set by each year’s official call. In the first session we review your specific case — age, previous studies and deadlines — and tell you whether you meet them and what documents you need.
How long does it take to prepare for the over-25s entrance exam?
It depends on your starting point and the hours you can put in. After the initial assessment we give you a realistic estimate of the weeks and sessions per week you’ll need to reach the exam session with time to spare.
What are the classes like?
We apply the Barbeito Method: no lectures, no whiteboards. A teacher works directly with you, pinpoints where the real difficulty lies and builds from there, with our own materials and official past papers.
Can I combine it with a job?
Yes. It’s the most common situation for this kind of preparation. We adjust the frequency and timing of the sessions to your working day, and step things up in the weeks before the exam.
Do you work with past papers?
Yes. They’re the best guide to what gets asked and how it’s marked. We do timed mock exams and mark them using the official criteria so there are no surprises on exam day.
Do you offer classes in person and online?
We have 13 centres in Madrid — Goya, Quevedo, Majadahonda, Pozuelo, Alcobendas, Alcalá de Henares, Alcorcón, Torrejón de Ardoz and more — and our own online platform for anyone who prefers to study from home.
What makes mundoestudiante different from other tuition centres in Madrid?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews.
Can I ask for information with no commitment?
Yes. We offer a no-commitment initial assessment session. You can email us at info@mundoestudiante.com or call us on +34 911 79 60 15.
