What does university access for over-45s involve?
A text commentary and Spanish language exam and a personal interview. It is for people aged 45 or over without an access qualification or demonstrable work experience in the degree. In Alicante it is called by the University of Alicante and the UMH.
What do they ask in the over-45s interview?
Mainly why you want to study that degree, how it relates to your career and how you will organise yourself. The interview is usually decisive, so we rehearse it as if it were the real one.
What is the over-45s text commentary like?
You are asked to summarise a text, identify the topic and give an argued opinion, with correct writing. With the Barbeito Method we work on a fixed structure that gives confidence even if you haven’t written an exam for years.
