Biology lessons
in Alicante
Biology is not passed by memorising alone: you have to understand the processes and be able to explain them in writing. We work on both so that study effort shows in the marks.

Barbeito Method
Biology support
Specialists in Biology.
Cell biology, genetics, metabolism, immunology and evolution. We turn the syllabus into diagrams that link concepts and train how to write complete answers, which is where many students lose marks.
Biology lessons
Biology and Geology in ESO (secondary school, ages 12–16), Biology in Bachillerato (sixth form, ages 16–18) and preparation for the Biology paper of the PAU in Alicante, key for Health Sciences degrees at the University of Alicante (UA) and Miguel Hernández University (UMH).

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
Is there a Biology tuition centre in Alicante?
Yes. At mundoestudiante Alicante (Calle Reyes Católicos, 61) we teach Biology and Geology in ESO and Biology in Bachillerato, also online.
How do you prepare for a Biology exam with so much syllabus?
By planning block by block and studying with diagrams and self-testing, not by rereading notes. The Barbeito Method combines our own diagrams with review questions in every session to fix what has been learnt.
Why does my child study a lot of Biology but get low marks?
Often the problem is not what they know but how they write it: incomplete answers or imprecise vocabulary. We train students to write complete, well-ordered answers, which is what gets marked.
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
The work is individualised: each student progresses with their own plan and at their own pace, even when sharing a classroom. That’s the foundation of the Barbeito Method and the reason it works with very different levels at the same time.
Do you prepare the Biology paper of the PAU in Alicante?
Yes, using past papers from the Valencian Community PAU, which is the one sat in Alicante. Biology is key for Health Sciences degrees, where it usually carries a lot of weight in admissions.
Can I combine in-person and online Biology lessons?
Yes. You can come to the Reyes Católicos centre and switch to online in busy weeks, with the same teacher and the same follow-up.
What makes mundoestudiante different from other tuition centres in Alicante?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews. Up-to-date materials of our own and teachers who specialise in each subject.
