Which Spanish levels do you prepare in Alicante?
From A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. In the first lesson we check your real level, speaking and writing, and set a goal and a schedule with you.
Can I start without knowing any Spanish?
Yes. If you start from zero, you begin in a literacy group and, at the same time, with individualised conversation lessons, so you can get by in your daily life in Alicante as soon as possible.
What is a Spanish lesson with the Barbeito Method like?
You work with a teacher who follows you closely: corrects on the spot, sees what is holding you back (grammar, comprehension, pronunciation or vocabulary) and gives you our own materials for your level. No lectures.
Do you prepare me for an official Spanish qualification?
Yes. If a university, a company or an administrative procedure asks you to certify a level, we focus the lessons on the exam you need, practising with past exam models.
What timetable do you have in Alicante?
We are open Monday to Thursday, 10:00–14:00 and 16:30–20:30, and Friday and Saturday, 10:00–14:00. Within those hours we adjust the frequency of lessons to your work or studies.
I want to study at a Spanish university. Which course suits me?
The Spanish + PCE course: in Alicante you prepare at once the B2 Spanish that universities ask for and UNED’s Specific Skills Tests (PCE), in a single path.
Can I take Spanish lessons online?
Yes. You can come to our centre on Calle Reyes Católicos 61 in Alicante, or connect from home with our own online platform, with the same method.
