Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
Do you offer French support for ESO in Alicante?
Yes. We support French as a second foreign language throughout ESO, following the school’s textbook and pace, with particular attention to the grammar and vocabulary of each unit.
What is hardest about French for a Spanish speaker?
Pronunciation and verb conjugation, especially irregular verbs and the past tenses. With the Barbeito Method we work on them with oral practice and graded exercises from the first day.
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
The work is individualised: each student progresses with their own plan, at their own pace. Conversation sessions take place in small groups, because speaking needs someone to talk to.
Do you offer French classes for adults?
Yes, for those who need it for work, study or travel. We start with a placement test and adapt the content to your goal.
Can I prepare Bachillerato French even if I started late?
Yes. We do a levelling of the basics and then move forward at the pace of the course, so the student doesn’t carry gaps.
Are French lessons in person or online?
Both: at our Alicante centre, on Calle Reyes Católicos, 61, or online, with the same teacher.
What sets mundoestudiante apart from other language schools in Alicante?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history behind it, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews. We always start from your real level, not from a fixed course.
