Barbeito Method
Get into a Spanish university
Specialists in international students.
The challenge is usually less the content than the exam format, the academic language and an admissions system nobody has explained to you. At our Alicante centre we work on all three at once, with the official UNEDasiss syllabus.
PCE preparation classes
Each degree and each university weights subjects differently, so the first step is choosing the right ones to sit. We then prepare each one with our own materials, academic vocabulary in Spanish and past papers so the format doesn’t catch you out.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
What are the UNEDasiss PCE?
They are the Specific Skills Tests organised by UNED for students with a foreign or international Bachillerato. They give you the admission grade to enter Spanish universities. If your country has an agreement, you enter with the UNEDasiss credential; if not, you must first have your Bachillerato validated.
Which PCE do I need to study at the University of Alicante or the UMH?
It depends on the degree: each university publishes which subjects weight and how much. Before starting we check the UA or UMH tables for your degree and choose with you the PCE that add most.
How do you prepare the PCE at mundoestudiante?
With the Barbeito Method: the official UNEDasiss syllabus, our own materials by subject and mock exams with past papers. We also guide you with the credential and pre-registration deadlines.
Can I sit the PCE if my Spanish is not very good yet?
Yes, but it is best to prepare them in academic Spanish from the start. If your level is below B2, our Spanish + PCE course combines Spanish classes with PCE preparation.
Do you work with past papers?
Yes. They’re the best guide to what gets asked and how it’s marked. We do timed mock exams and mark them using the official criteria so there are no surprises on exam day.
Can I start preparing online before arriving in Alicante?
Yes. Many students start online from their home country and move to in-person lessons at our centre on Calle Reyes Católicos, 61, when they settle in Alicante.
What makes mundoestudiante different from other tuition centres in Alicante?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews.
