Specialists in preparing external candidates.
As an external candidate there’s no safety net: no coursework, no class marks and no second chance during the year. At mundoestudiante we plan your preparation subject by subject, with a teacher who works with you one-to-one and sets the pace you need to be ready for the exam session.
Classes for the Bachillerato external exams
We prepare the core subjects and those of your pathway using the official syllabus and past papers, with particular attention to the hardest ones: Maths, History and languages, including Valencian if you are not exempt.

Extended, flexible timetable
In person in Alicante or online, compatible with a job.
04
Specialist teachers
Teachers trained in the method and in each subject of the exam, not students giving the odd class.
Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
What are the requirements to take Bachillerato as an external candidate in Alicante?
Be 20 or turn 20 in the year of the exam, hold the ESO certificate and not already hold the Bachillerato qualification. The call is published each year by the Conselleria de Educación, which sets the dates and subjects. In the first session we review your case and the documents.
How long does it take to prepare for the Bachillerato external exams?
It depends on your starting point and the hours you can put in. After the initial assessment we give you a realistic estimate of the weeks and sessions per week you’ll need to reach the exam session with time to spare.
How do you prepare each subject for Bachillerato as an external candidate?
With the Barbeito Method: our own materials by subject, graded exercises and mock exams with real papers. Every week we review what is failing to adjust the plan before the exam.
Can I combine it with a job?
Yes. It’s the most common situation for this kind of preparation. We adjust the frequency and timing of the sessions to your working day, and step things up in the weeks before the exam.
Which Bachillerato pathway should I choose for the external exam?
The one that fits what you want to study afterwards and your strengths. If you are going to sit the PAU to enter the UA or the UMH, we help you choose the one that weights best for your degree.
Can I prepare online if I don’t live in Alicante city?
Yes. If you live in Elche, San Vicente del Raspeig or another town in the province, you can prepare online with the same teachers and materials, and come to the centre on Calle Reyes Católicos, 61, whenever you need.
What makes mundoestudiante different from other tuition centres in Alicante?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews.
