English tuition
in Madrid
School English is almost always failed for the same reason: grammar that has piled up without ever sinking in. We find the point where it stalled and rebuild from there, without starting again from scratch.

Barbeito Method
Extra support in English
English specialists.
Years of English lessons don’t guarantee solid foundations. At mundoestudiante we pinpoint exactly which structures are letting you down — tenses, conditionals, the passive, reported speech — and work on those, not on a generic syllabus.
English lessons
Grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening, writing and speaking, from Primary (ages 6–12) to EvAU English (the Spanish university entrance exam) and first-year university English. Always with your school’s textbook and syllabus.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
Which levels do you offer English for in Madrid?
We work from Primary to university. In the initial assessment we establish your real level, and from there we set the goal and the plan.
What are the classes like?
We apply the Barbeito Method: no lectures, no blackboards. A teacher works directly with you, spots which structures or skills are holding you back and builds from there, using our own materials and those from your school.
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
The work is individualised: each student progresses with their own plan, at their own pace. Conversation sessions take place in small groups, because speaking needs someone to talk to.
Do you prepare students for official exams?
Yes. We prepare Cambridge exams from A2 to C2 with full mock exams and marking to the official criteria, and we also provide support for international programmes such as IGCSE and A-Level.
Can you fit around my schedule?
Yes. We adjust the frequency and timing of sessions to your availability, and step them up in the weeks before a school exam or an official exam session.
Do you offer classes in person and online?
We have 13 centres in Madrid — Goya, Quevedo, Majadahonda, Pozuelo, Alcobendas, Alcalá de Henares, Alcorcón, Torrejón de Ardoz and more — and our own online platform for anyone who prefers to study from home.
What sets mundoestudiante apart from other language schools in Madrid?
We apply the Barbeito Method, with more than 45 years of history behind it, which allows us to maintain a 93% pass rate and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 850 genuine reviews. We always start from your real level, not from a fixed course.
Can I book a free trial lesson?
Yes. We offer a no-commitment initial assessment session. You can email us at info@mundoestudiante.com or call us on +34 911 79 60 15.
