Specialists in official Cambridge exams.
As you know, speaking a second language – especially English – will open many doors for you in the future: not only at work, but also when applying for scholarships, master’s degrees and more. That is why at mundoestudiante we offer you the chance to prepare for the two main levels, B2 (FCE) and C1 (CAE), so you can round off your education and be as well prepared as possible for the future. The Barbeito Method has been teaching our students for 45 years through a teaching system that is unique in Spain. Our method is based on personalised attention for each of you in a group setting, where the teacher adapts to each student’s individual needs, level and abilities. Those of you who already know us know what we mean; if you haven’t tried it yet, we encourage you to give our method a go.
Cambridge exam preparation
Our highly qualified teachers will also give you a level test so we can assess which exam suits you best and how many hours you’ll need to prepare for it. Once your level has been set, you’ll be assigned a teacher with whom you’ll work one-to-one on each and every part of the official Cambridge exam: Reading & Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking. You can choose to prepare at one of our centres or from home through our online platform.
Your Cambridge exam tuition centre in Valladolid
Passing the B2 exam shows you have the skills of an independent user, such as being able to hold a fluent, natural conversation without too much effort, write clear texts on a range of topics, express your opinions, preferences and ideas in writing, and understand texts on different subjects, including their technical and specialist vocabulary. The B2 exam is equivalent to the First Certificate (FCE). On the other hand, if your level is more advanced, you can take the C1 exam, designed for proficient users who can carry out more complex tasks in a foreign language. In this case, the skills you gain will allow you to hold spontaneous conversations with a wider vocabulary, write detailed, more complex and elaborate texts on many topics, and understand all kinds of texts, not only in general terms but also their implicit meanings.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
What is the B2 (FCE) English exam like?
Passing the B2 exam shows you have the skills of an independent user, such as being able to hold a fluent, natural conversation without too much effort, write clear texts on a range of topics, express your opinions, preferences and ideas in writing, and understand texts on different subjects, including their technical and specialist vocabulary. The B2 exam is equivalent to the First Certificate (FCE).
What is the C1 English or Advanced (CAE) exam like?
On the other hand, if your level is more advanced, you can take the C1 exam, designed for proficient users who can carry out more complex tasks in a foreign language. In this case, the skills you gain will allow you to hold spontaneous conversations with a wider vocabulary, write detailed, more complex and elaborate texts on many topics, and understand all kinds of texts, not only in general terms but also their implicit meanings.
Which Cambridge exams do you prepare students for?
We prepare students for A2, B1 (PET), B2 (First), C1 (Advanced) and C2 (Proficiency), using our own materials aligned with Cambridge standards and full past papers.
How do you know which level I should sit?
We give you a level test before you start. It helps us assess which exam suits you best and how many hours of preparation you need to be comfortably ready by the exam date.
Do you work on all four exam skills?
Yes. Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking are each worked on separately, with timed mock exams and marking based on the official Cambridge criteria.
Do you also handle exam registration?
Yes. At mundoestudiante we handle your registration for the official exam as well as your preparation, so all you have to do is study.
Where are the lessons held in Valladolid?
