How do you prepare the Spanish Language text commentary for the PAU?
With a fixed structure: theme, summary, organisation of ideas and an argumentative text of your own. We practise it on real papers from the Valencian Community PAU, which is the one sat in Alicante, until the student can write it in the exam time.
My child doesn’t understand syntax. Can it be learnt well?
Yes. Syntax is very mechanical when taught in steps: first the verb, then the subject and predicate, then the complements and, finally, compound sentences. With the Barbeito Method we progress with graded exercises.
Do you support Spanish Language in ESO or only in Bachillerato?
Both. In ESO we work on reading comprehension, spelling, grammar and written expression, which are the foundation of every other subject.
Are classes one-to-one or in groups?
The work is individualised: each student progresses with their own plan and at their own pace, even when sharing a classroom. That’s the foundation of the Barbeito Method and the reason it works with very different levels at the same time.
Can you adapt to my exam calendar?
Yes. We adjust the frequency and intensity of the sessions to your calendar, with the option of stepping up in the weeks before your exams or the exam session.
Can I take Spanish Language lessons online?
Yes, at our Alicante centre, on Calle Reyes Católicos, 61, or online, with the same teacher and text correction.
